WTD: red plastic indicator stalk end
Hi All,
I am going through my bits for my 54 and I noticed that the red end for my indicator stalk has been cracked and glued back together. It is one of the
ones that the end lights up when it is on. I believe these are quite hard to find but if anyone has a spare end please let me know. If anyone also
knows what these are off or era if would be great.
Thanks
T54

I have one in my 57 oval and it works very well. It was made by hella as an acc. There two styles made, one with chrome shaft, the other was plastic,
very weak easy to break off. To wire the switch up the light needs a ground return from the indicater relay for it to work. I have also modified my
semafores to flash as well.

I have had a look at my Hella catalogue looks like they are still available. part # 4208. the ony problem is they have a black shaft and housing. Just
paint it ivory to match coloum and it will look ok.

Mine is the same as 57oval. Square end chrome shaft. The opening in the housing is also different as the hole is slightly larger to be able to slide
the stalk through with the globe in the end. Mine is also stamped hella.

I had one on my 356 - marked with 'SWF' on the end - worked fine . You
could try someone like Stoddards or any other 356 parts place in the US for a repro item
