Havent upset me!!

Rookie question here!

Why would this car sell for so much?

Is it a special model or particularly valuable?

I am a bit confused by beetle prices.

I have been looking for a while but this one has thrown me.

Fuel tank looks a bit different for an oval. Two ribs on the front and looks like a fitting for fuel gauge sender?

It'll sell for double that maybe, it has 4 days to go and will reach $4-5k I'd imagine

Its special in the sense its an oval, but later 56-57 ovals aren't as valuable as early 54-55 ones, but still more sought after than any big window!

Prices will always vary depending on if its complete, rust free, running and if its solid or not, just keep shopping around if you are unsure and ask questions here aswell.

Fuel tank with the two horizontal ribs was particular to the '56 model. That said, my '56 doesn't have 'em
