Windows stiff to wind on beetle
The windows in my '70 beetle are now starting to get really stiff to wind up.
Any remedies to fix this?
Previously I used some silicon lub spray, but it only lasts a short while.
Cheers
Rob

take the door trim off, and grease or dry lube (stick) the regulator where the teeth are, and the channel on the bottom of the glass where the reg
slides in.
Make sure the bailey channel is sitting in all the way around the glass...

wash all the dirt and grease out of the regulator before you re grease it as well. Operate it while its out of the car to ensure you get good
coverage with the grease, could also be the spring clip in the widow chanel
