yeah.... i've seen that bus, not in the flesh but 500hp of of WTF kombi karma

i'm sort of thinkin of somethin a bit more sedate/standard 911s sort of standard

I reckon that there would be a lot of body work needed to fit a 6 cylinder Porshe engine to a splittie. Also a brake upgrade would be essential and compulsory. You'd need the services of an engineer, but don't let that put you off. It just means that it would be done properly and legally.
