general purpose is good
If its a new beam jack the car n take the weight off the front end then grease it
also do this every few weeks while the beam is new as the grease moves around inside the beam

I use Castrol LMM (the black stuff) in everything, wheel bearings, CVs, Front beams. It's great as it's water resistant

There is ONLY one grease to use....
Castrol LMM black Lithium based Moly grease...
as Mick said....
its best for everything....
great for things that You don't want to wear out...
Clay based chassis grease is rubbish....
Any brand of Lithium based Moly Grease .... will do...
Castrol also have a Blue Lithium complex grease...
I've been using it for over 40 years....
