Help Diagonal Arm
Hi All,'
Are the pivot bolts on the rear diagonal arm of a 76 Bug threaded - as in.....do they unscrew?? I have a 17mm hex bit for my driver and I can't get
the bastards to budge an inch. Im now wondering if hey are just simply fused with crap. I have soaked extensively with WD40 to no avail.
I need them out tonight so any advice would be greatly appreciated
Cheers All

Yes they are threaded, you will need a long bar or a rattle gun.

Excuse my ignorance - peened??
Are you suggesting that I need to hammer it out? How do you suggest I do that?
