[FS - QLD] 1966 VW Type 3 1600 Fastback TS
1966 VW Type 3 1600 Fastback TS
Car has been garaged since 2004, before which it was a daily driver. Reason for taking off the road--it wasn't as safe a car as my 505, being lighter
and rear-engine, etc. I am the third owner. The owner before me was a mechanic and owned and looked after the car well for about 25 years. The
odometer reading is far too low to be accurate, so I'm unsure of the KMs.
Here are the particulars:
- Running well
- Very original condition
- Some small rust spots, though has never had rust in floor pan
- A few small dings, but otherwise straight--never pranged
- Good upholstery--new dash. Needs new carpet.
- Original beige paint in mostly good shape
- Selling without rego or RWC
- Good tyres
- Without too much work, this car can be made into an excellent, very original example of a fastback. Great opportunity.
