2 stage/step

Ok thought i might as the drag racers rather than the track ppl.

Iam getting a mallory ignition system installed next week and it will include a 2 stage re limit. I don't use the car for drags, but iam looking at using the 2step for launching at the track (eg hillclimb).

Whats the best way of setting up the switch?
What about rev setting for the launch?
and what the best way off the line (bring it to full throttle, limit on, and just dump the clutch?)

Cheers

I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!

usually you have a 2 step so you can leave at full throttle and keep your foot planted on the floor for a consistant launch without over reving the engine. My favorite way to set up a 2 step switch is to put it on the firewall so that your clutch pedal engages it when pushed all the way down, that way you will always be consistant with your clutch engagement position, hope this helps, Mike

p.s. if you need pics let me know
