091 gearbox.

Hi all seeking help here. I bought a 091 gearbox yesterday for my daily driver beetle with a 2.0ltr type4. The gearbox has written on it 091 301 103 from research that i have done so far this is a 80-83 vanagon gearbox. Can someone tell me where to find the coding on the gearbox that tells you what gears may be inside.

http://www.midsouthvw.com/TechTips/tech_tip_TransaxleCode.htm

It is on the other side compared to this photo.

There are better links for the actual gear ratios,
but it may be best to just remove the bell housuing and count the teeth on the diff.
Most likely it will have 4.57 diff (32 and 7),
and 3.78 first
2.06 second
1.26 third
.82 to .88 in 4th.

I have seen some 5.86 diffs in 091 boxes,
but the tooth count under the bell housing will tell you this immediately.
