just about impossible

Would probally be easier to fit struts to the front and do away with the beam

Thye can be lowered releatively easy but not narrowed

People are grafting type 1 beams, a lot easier. Look on the samba.com

Only heard of one, that was in a UK VW mag a short whole back.
Reckon Dave is right, go a type 1 beam.

Wishful thinking but was hoping not have to re-invent the wheel,so to speak,,so am looking for someone who has or is doing the type 1 conversion at the moment.
Thanks to all so far.... Tony

I have been doing these for a while now.
One of my type 3's has a 4inch narrowed front and sits flat on the ground.
They are almost ready for distribution .
Call me at "Old School Kustoms" on 0420 972 129.
Cheers.
