I have updated the '65 with a few accessories and finished throwing in a adjustable front beam today so I took some snaps...
Next on the shopping list - wheels!

dvs: Those in my avatar would be great... its a pitty I can't my mind what would look the best as I change my mind daily.
empikg: I hear you - it looks ORDINARY with the wheels on it I know, I have spoken to George, I just can't decide... what would be
ideal would be non repro rims, but I can't find any that I can afford at the moment (I promised the wife this would be a cheap project). Your rims would look perfect on it!

Jon, if it makes your decision any easier, Classic are out of BRMs, only have one chrome set in stock, and one set of Sprintstars in black/polished
left too.....BRMs are about 2 months away in the colours, so that narrows down the choices....and I'm in the hunt for what I want for the oval, but
may be waiting a while as it seems!

I am now led to believe there are no stocks of black BRMs anywhere in Oz, I managed to get the last set from Vintage and the last set in Oz, and they
reckon they are more like 5-6 months away as Flat 4 aren't making any or due to have any for 2-3 months!!!
I didn't enquire about silver ones, but as I said, CVD have 1 chrome set left and sprintstars too!
What about the Raders on Ebay, that were also for sale on here, silver, but maybe paint them darker and they have tyres on them, yes a set of 195/60,
but they'd be good for the back and get some 135s up front and then you'd have a spare rear set of tyres!

Michael - Good work getting the last set of BRM's available - can't wait to see how your oval will look with new shoes!
I guess Raders on the bottom of the list, I like them, but I like other wheels (eg. black BRM's ) alot more... I am thinking about throwing on a set of Mangels if I can find a set (grey) until I make a concrete
decision / something becomes available.

Nice - very nice, but my dub is being put togther on a fairly tight budget as investment properties are apparently more important than a new new set
of wheels for a dub that seldom gets driven (this is what the wife says anyway) .

LOL, she's lieing, but hey she sounds like my bank manager!
Good luck finding something, just a matter of patience I suppose!
The BRMs will be on the oval once I return from my trip, hopefully to a nicely slammed and 4in narrowed setup!

Ash: Thanks!
dvs-vw: Now there is a hold up on me getting / deciding on what wheels to upgrade to - the interior will now be the next priority -
already have the rear venetian, and NOS org headlining to be fitted - looking for a good price on a Empi GT timber / stainless steering wheel with red
horn button, and then the retrim will commence...
bond: Sure is...
