[FS - QLD] '76 Kombi High Top - Project Vehicle
Name : Joel
Location : Cotton Tree, QLD, 4558
Contact : 0405 762382 (leave message if no answer)
'76 Kombi, 2.0l EFI, Fixed high top roof with windows, functioning convertable couch/bed, 240v circuit, 12v circuit, 3-way fridge, microwave,
electric cooking ring, gas system for fridge and dual burner stove top (see below), cupboards, sink.
Also has a 4x25w amp, 2 rear mounted Kenwoord speakers and stereo head unit with CD, SD flash card and USB funtionality. Stereo system worth $750
second hand.
I'll try not to ramble too much, but there's a fair amount of detail to follow.
This vehicle was bought by me about 2.5 years ago. I spent a fair bit of money getting welding done to get it through road worthy and registration and
also on the engine getting it up to daily driver standard.
It is currently registered but since being parked up 9 months ago (immediately after a full service) it has only been started once and won't start at
the moment. The engine in general is good and ran as a daily driver for about a year until last September.
Body work is poor, plenty of rot, few holes. The paint job is eccentric - pictures to follow psychedelic rainbows, clouds, stars etc.
Interior is poor as well.
It took a knock from the rear about 18 months ago and fridge shifted from moorings so gas system is decommissioned although the fridge and stove top
are still there and okay. I'm told the layout of the gas lines and burners would be illegal by todays standards anyway.
In short, my best outcome with this is to have someone take it off my hands and turn it into a project and get it back to somewhere near its former
glory.
Worst case scenario, take it off my hands and pull it to bits for parts (I might cry as you take it away though!).
No idea what I want for it, but I bought it for $5.5k 2.5 years ago.
Any offers or interest?

[WTB - NT]
Sorry if anyone's been waiting for these. I've been meaning to venture outside to take some more pictures, but if anyone's seen what the weather's
been doing on the Sunshine Coast for the last week, you'll understand why I haven't!
