Hello Dubbers
Iam restoring a buggie ,and would like to know how do we get a demister to run in them .Is there a electric heater on the market or do i have to use the heater box on the exhaust .:D

just to get things started, My mate put a 12 Volt hair dryer (I think) in his buggy for the demister.
- There are units available, standby for ...More.....

hair dryer is the way to go


All the hot rodders out there use a 12 volt electric hair dryes. They fit snuggly under the dash and are easy to hook up. Will only set you back around $30 as well. i don't see y they are always so picky about having these demisters anyway especially in a buggy, my kombi has one out of a suziki carry van but i put in a waterpumper... i found out about the hair dryers later after i went to all the trouble of fitting it and i wasn't happy

btw you can pick them up from most caravan and camping stores i saw the price at caravan accessories a while back

Thanks guys the hair dryer sounds great and has the right price . yes makes you wonder demister in a convertable. Now to convert my bug to 12 volt :P
