The loose cam gear was diagnosed last year, finally giving way (not totally) in June. I thought of searching for a replacement engine but it all happened too fast, no time, money or space for a restoration.

Yea my old mans baja dropped the rivets strait off the end of the cam. Problem is its the last thing that comes outta the motor.
Real shame as it was a good motor. Good buy i tell ya, if i was up QLD id buy but......

Anyway gud luck with the sale.

Cheers Will

The motor can be repaired. Just everything, (Pistons, barrels etc_ have 2 come out. basically the last thing that comes out is the cam shaft.
