piston seizure
Kinda of an air cooled thing.
On the way home today from work my posti bike(job) decided to have a seizure and then commence to high side me onto the road at 70kmhr.
Kinda fun, in a strange way.
I think it scared the shit out of the people in the car behind me more than it did me.
Heads up all moto riders check the oil daily not weekly.
Monday had half a dipstick of oil and today well the obvious.(friggin vent lines)
Took off some bark, but it's all good. Lucky it has been raining for a week down here.
Not too many road riders get back up.
Keep the steering and the propulsion seperate . Still a Kombi...
It's all good, until it's bad, i suppose

Obviously never ridden a road bike and bit the dust. Be it a 900 or a posti bike impact is still the same. Try it......
But yes thinking about it dropping a steppi must have been a sight especially to the oncoming car that my head missed by millimeters.
So; no i really dont see the humour about almost leaving my family of 6 behind.
Mustve missed something.
Cant say i had too much time to think about shitting myself..
more so self preservation..

lol any motorbke crash you can walk away from is a good one!
A great mate of mine broke his left lower leg, both bones at parking speed in the city falling over in the wet to miss an errant jay walker. Had
external fixitors on it for a year...
Well done. I hope you stood and took a bow at the car behind you
Now it the time for a wiseco piston, recut squish.......

strangely enough lost my best mate 13 months ago, because an old fart on his way home from golf
"didn't see him".
I was directly behind him, its only that my bike at the time had much better brakes that i guess i am still here.
Cheers

OK, i apologise for taking it so lightly.
I am glad you're ok and i'm aware it could have been more serious.
Its just the way you put it..
"On the way home today from work my posti bike(job) decided to have a seizure and then commence to high side me onto the road at 70kmhr.

Ok fine, so i have a warped sense of humour. Sue me.
Once again (i should have added it to my first post) I'm glad you're ok.

Guess my return spray was some what of shock that a fellow dubber would find humour in a near death experience.
It's all good.
Yes warped but at least you have one.:thumb
