Nick,
This defineatly will not work for a Type 1, this mounts straight onto the stock side brackets that the front axle bolt to for a Type 3.
the type 1 mounts to the brackets in the centre on the axle.
This airbeam setup will only work for Type 3's ONLY!!!

you need type one trailing arms and torsion links (where the spindles go) with king pin it and link pin kit.
only way to run shocks is to run a bracket off the body.
the bearings in your type 3 drums could be different to the ones for l/p spindles.

good price seeing as its in OZ and nla from KCW....
would cost a lot more to have it all cut for one off I would think.

Just about all the parts can be had from commercial truck parts suppliers and 4x4 parts suppliers.... The rear shocks will be you biggest issue in Oz.... No many suppliers for that stuff here.... There are a few mini truck kustom shops about that can help you there.... Or you could just try some of the Monroe air-riser shocks... Quality is a little iffy at times, but I know of a few peeps running them in the US... or you could try to source some OEM shocks off 90's Subaru Liberty wagons and Ford Fairlanes... Some of them used air shocks as standard...

Then of course you have the up-spec option of fitting airsprings in the rear also... But that's another story...
