king and link pin front beams
swing axle
pushrod motors
constant oil leaks
drum brakes
non-counterweighted cranks
steering boxes
a body shape that lifts the car off the road above 140km/h
6V electrics
and the list goes on....

and yet we all persevere with them. be careful what you say, your beetle is a couple of panels and a bulkhead away from struts, which BTW are far superior to torsion bars for handling. Look under the bonnet of any new car and you'll see that any car manufacturer agrees. :thumb

p.s. Steve, why did he have to do it to a 75Lbug? :mad:
