Adelaide cruise 9th September PICS!!!!
What a great day, the weather held out and I think we had a really good turn out.
We were joined by some old guys at LeCornu's in a pair of nice ovals. One guy's wife made the comment of the cruise when a couple of the forum guys
rolled in "Oh my God! P plater's, I'm hiding in the car!" And in the car she hid for the rest of the day!
The site of six Beetles in a row, ranging from stockie to restored to modified turned lots of heads and I even believe I saw an Emo girl smile as we
went past!!!!! Many folks also copped black and blue arms from the amount of "punchbuggying" going on down Jetty Road.
Was great to meet you all and get plenty of advice and support for my car.
To top it off we rocked up to O.S.K and Aaron and his wife showed us around the workshop and certainly gave me plenty of devious ideas for my ride.
A great day, thanks all again, and thanks to 57 Cal look for organising it! We will have to do it again REAL soon!
Pete
Sorry, pics taken on phone camera!

Handled like it was on rails!

Since the weather is picking up maybe over the next few months work out some cruise routes to either Victor Harbor or up to the Barossa?

Or even the hills perhaps (using the not so hilly routes). There are some great antique shops, bakeries etc.

The Chain of Ponds drive would be a good one, maybe up thru Loberthal and take in some of the Hills scenery. I was thinking we should really do one to
Harndorf, end the cruise at the German Arms!!!!!
