interior

Here's a shot of the interior. We have had the seat springs in the drivers seat fixed since this shot. It was way too bouncey after lowing. It is still quiet bouncey over pot holes, but much better.

update - 16_08_08

we have had the front beam narrowed (2 inches) with drop spindles by the Debiasi's. Can't believe the difference in ride and love the way it sits. Many thanks Peter and Adam. Lovin it!

Looks very sweet on the road 68 to 70 s are cool and often over looked for early beetles but give me 12 volts and ball joints and disc brakes any day.

Thanks '60 - It drove past me in the car park at Bunnings with a for sale sign on it nearly two years ago and I knew I had to have it and I knew what had to be done to it.

I'm very happy with how its turning out.

Couldn't agree more!!! If I ever was to get a beetle it would be 68 to 70 model.

Well done on a simple but effective build. Exactly the way I like them done or not overdone if you know what I mean.
