I love 242HP sleepers.

How many sets of lights does it take a $229k Carrera S to learn? UPDATE: Cayman S, M3, B4 now added to the list.

Whoops I meant to put this in the "who has a type 3" post. Any admin quite welcome to delete and move to that post.

Car came from Brighton VIC via Brad (65Busser) and was a from memory a 1 owner car serviced at place it was bought from its entire life until I purchased 2 years ago.

Paid $1000 and sold original TLE engine and gearbox for $300, so a bargain buy on my part. Pretty well rust free apart from passenger rear air vent area.

Now sporting a 242hp EJ20T engine with modified, suspension, gearbox and brakes. Have posted a bunch of pics in the NON VW ENGINE CONVERSION section that show the transformation.

Searched on Ebay and got from some place in US. Im sure Vintage has them but from what I hear, all need to be filed back to fit. Not even close to OE quality but Ill take the look over quality fit unti lsomething else better comes along.
