Long shot.. seen in Tassie last night..

Saw an awesome looking ratty early bug last night.. Was either very dark green or black, very low on stock rims painted red. (no hubcaps)
I've never seen it before!
Does anyone know of this bug?
I tried to chase it up the road but i got a red light :P
