Has anyone seen a VW SP2?

Hi

These cars were made in Brazil by VW. I found a video on Youube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVxPR3sjeGA

Yeah i haven't seen one in person though..
They look awesome and sporty.. but i think they still run a 1600!
Would be awesome with a WRX engine in the back!

I "think" they can stock with Kads??

I wonder if they were as poorly made as most Brazil/Mexican parts??

Hi

Did you notice on the red in the for sales that it had an alternator. I think someone on here was asking about Type 3 alternators.

I remember reading about one in a VW magazine recently. Might have been ultraVW but not sure. I thought it was quite cool and had the same thought that throwing in a subie engine would make it sweet. Any in Aussieland.

I think Fast Fours had a feature on an Aussie-based one. It was a long time ago... it was at the VW Nats in about 1991/92 and i sawe it at some other show, too. Yellow. Had a full-tilt Pobjoy 1916cc in it.... no need for a radiator that way!
