70's parts for sale - SOLD

Type 3 - Few parts for sale 70s on

Pickup from Rockdale NSW

Trying to clean out some stuff from the garage.

Have 1 set of popouts for a Fasty. Glass is good, usual pitting on chrome latches. No rubbers but have seen standard rubbers converted to fit quite well. $50

Complete panel set $100

Will describe best I can and have taken photos of the rust concern areas. In general the parts are pretty straight. They have isolated rust spots which I will show/explain but are not riddled everywhere. I got out the water pressure cleaner to try and uncover anything and get rid of any dirt stuck in the crevaces.

In saying this, these parts in this condition would probably be a dream if similar for an early split or anyone in the UK. Hope that gives a picture?

Driver door is solid with only surface rust.

Passenger door is solid except for lower section as per 2 photos. What has rusted off here is the lip for the door rubber.

Bonnet is good and solid, only surface rust.

Deck lid is straight but has areas where moisture has got under the seam, its not through to the other side, only on the seam area.

Rear guards are fine except for the typical rust spot hidden behind where the bumper would sit. Has eaten through in these areas. Left is worse than right.

Front guards are both straight but again have the typical rust area at the bottom where dirt is trapped from being thrown up inside the wheel arch. Passenger guard with the antenna hole also has the rust hole at the top corner.

All fixable if you have the time and know how.

Hope that gives you an idea. Please feel free to call me/text me on 0410691014. Or contact me on lochielmac@hotmail.com. Reason cannot get AVD to work at moment on my PC, only wifes laptop which is returned to office today. Thanks,Andrew

I love 242HP sleepers.

How many sets of lights does it take a $229k Carrera S to learn? UPDATE: Cayman S, M3, B4 now added to the list.
