'54 Oval

I have chance to buy this '54.

The front and rear clips have been cut off at one stage to make a baja. The rear clip has been replaced (only pop riveted back on) and the front clip in missing.
The guard and bonnet are fiberglass.
No motor and the gearbox is a tunnel case not a split one.
It has 1954 stamped on the id plate does this make it a '54 or a '55 ?

Well the plate says "made in germany", the id plate says "Baujahr 1954". The doors are the early style with the 2 locating lugs.
"MKA2232"
The photo of the chassis number isn't clear enough to make out and what I can make out dosen't make sense.

No, it's local to where I am. Will be having a closer look in the next few days, I want to pull it outside and empty the junk out to get a better gauge on it's condition

Mackaymanx, make sure all the door mechanicals and the window winders etc work as they dont swap over with anything later and are hard to find!

bushed, I am interested in the bonnet if you want to sell it if it is straight and has the 5 mounting bolt holes and the triangle plate under the badge.
