drivers door help~


Hey need some help, went to open driver door pushed the button in, heard a click, then something drop, door wont open from outside, opened it up and found, seems to be a broken washery thing. Any help greatly appreciated~ thanks

Yes,

You will have to replace the complete door lock mechanism

If You haven't seen one...

its a very complex complicated lock that is not repairable

mainly, because no one can figure out how it works:lol::lol:

its the large complicated looking piece
in behind the door handle lock...

I've never pulled one out so all My spare doors would still have them there...

outside door handle and key are all OK...

its just the mechanism inside the door...
usually the door handles don't give any trouble...

take the door handle off and press inside the square hole with a screwdriver or strong finger to see if the mechanism is at fault...

the outside door handle is pretty simple...
not many parts to fail...
