deifference betwwen Kombi/Caravella Transaxle

Is there a difference between the kombi and Caravella Transaxle. Because im after a 2 liter Kombi trans for a buggy proect and have found a 6 rib caravella 80-83 for cheap. Just wanted to know so that i have a strong Trans for a commodore engine (6cyl) and so that i dont have any problems when i go to buy the adaptor kit for the eninge conversion. beacuse the adaptor kits are usually built for the kombi transaxle.

They are the same from late '76 right up to the watercooled Caravelles, they have an oil cooler on them but the rest is basically still the same.
