Finally found something I like about Bunnings - Mig Welder
With a passion I hate Bunnings blah blah blah.
Have been researching for a small portable mig that will do the job for me with panel work on restos and any little stuff around home.
Saw the China stuff, saw the stuff on ebay and thought probably problems with parts/warranty etc. A half decent looking no name 100-120 amp mig on
ebay still sets me back close to $500.
As a teacher we have an account with Total Tools and went down to look at the Cigweld range. 100 amp Portaweld was priced at $1132 and strangely the
larger 135 amp was $920.
I looked at her strangely and said Im sure Bunnings had for this price ??????? She said if they do buy 5 and bring them back. I then thought I must
have looked at the arc welder price instead.
Straight to Bunnings and happily the Portaweld 100 was priced at $494 (compared to $1132) and the 135 amp was priced at $694 (compared to $920).
Ended up buying one of each, 100amp for me at home and 135 amp for school (or maybe me at home as well )
So if your in the market for a Mig check them out, it was also nice to see that their whole spare parts wall and accessories was all Cigweld stuff.

How many sets of lights does it take a $229k Carrera S to learn?
