leaking sump (subie), any quick tricks?

the dipstick tube on my sump is leaking round the welded join. it was only drip here or there until the weekend, but now its dropping more for some reason. I know welding it up properly is the best outcome, but I have a racing event on Saturday and pulling the motor before then ain't gonna happen. Is there something I can work into the join until I have time to drop the motor?

Looking for a quick trick here.

JB weld is your friend. I love this stuff for fixes like this. Best left for 24 hrs before use. clean very very well.
