If that's true, it had to happen sooner or later.
As I remember my high school physics and chemistry. Water is not H2O but it is H(OH). That is, it is not the oxide of hyrogen but the hydroxyl of
hydrogen.
When separating the hydrogen and oxygen from water, you don't get hydrogen and oxygen but hydrogen and free hydroxyl molecules.
If there is anything that a hydroxyl molecule wants to do it's to combine with almost anything and because the only thing available is a hydrohen
molecule, it wants to recombine to make water again which it will readily do.
That makes the whole process of separating the hydrogen and oxygen very difficult and costly as it requires a lot of energy to do it.
Also the combination of hydrogen and oxygen gasses is explosive and therefore very dangerous. The amount of energy given off in an explosion of
combining hydrogen and oxygen shows how much energy is needed to separate them.
I hope this inventor has solved those problems as we need such a breakthrough.
