my daily, not vw but the influences are there...

just thought i'd put up a couple of pics of my current daily driver.

i know it's not a vw, but it share's many similarities (and components) with the vw's of the same era....

and then of course my new wheels came from a vw too....

i think it's the next best thing to a vw, great fun to drive, solid german engineering etc.

Those Pirelli P's are a great wheel. Got a soft spot for the E30....nice car. Just needs to be a smidge lower and some thin whitewalls and it she'd be awesome....not that it's not sweet already!

agreed mate, the eibach's coulda done with dropping it another 10mm....but i'm happy that i've still got good clearance and no rubbing issues!

i just got the new tyres today, and i'll most likely be getting thin whitwalls done....or maybe red....still undecided on that one.

Isn't there a mad one of these in a cold play song film clip (that song that says "lets go back to the start"....) and like that dude thats the lead singer is racing it around the roads surrounded by woods, its shiny black, drives off the road, crashes and totals it and his gf in the passenger seat dies, and hes like walking around as a soul while singing and looking at his dead self and his gf... and hten it goes back before the crash on the road, like rewinding and all and it finishes...

hot stuff. :D

reckon they are pretty good.

the 318's are a bit..... well........slow :sniffle:

But the 323's are the pick :punk:

they are a bloody bargain to boot.
Mate at work - his son has just bought a 1989 318 auto for $2 1/2g's

Be hard pushed to buy a dub as good as that

haha, yeh, this is a 318i, and it is pretty slow....but it's a manual which definately helps, and it's no slower than the aircooled dubs i've owned!

i havn't seen the coldplay video....will keep an eye out for it.

Wanna buy an S38 3.6 engine to drop in? Just joking - I'm saving it for a future project - looking for a 635 with a blown engine. My son keeps asking if he can have it for a 2002. He had an E21 320i as his first car - and loved it.
