another engine noise question (FIXED)
i have a 1600 tp to go in the baja ,adjusted tappets to .006 starts up fine no oil light etc when revved no noises ,but when it backs off to idle it
sounds like a diesel clackety clack,has a bit more end float than desired so will have to fix that,is there any other reason for the noise(lifters
maybe??)
Paul

ok will try fan first
Quick Update::::::
just tried fan and it still rattled ,so next is the oil pump as to me it sounds like lifters as its a metallicy noise not a deep thump like a bearing
