Gearbox for CB

Given the new project didnt have its original running gear- am getting that sorted but can someone confirm the reduction boxes and gearboxes- was it straight out of the old busses or were there enhancements. If I get a box with reduction boxes should it bolt straight in to a 64ish pan.

Oh and next obvious question does anyone have one ?

Thanks in advance.

Peter

gearbox

The gear boxes work fine, not sure if the gearing is the same etc, its the reduction hubs that are different.
You will find the a split kombi reduction hub has the shocker mount on it.
A CB reduction hub has a different mount.
I once fitted a bus gearbox and hubs to find it sat lower in the rear end than is should.
