ADJUSTABLE FRONT BEAM

I am installing an adjustable ball joint front beam in my 68 Buggy.

Do I need to install special ball joints so they dont bind or are the standard ones OK?

Also are there any other modification I need to allow for?

Any advice would be welcomed as I have never done this before.
