930 CV CONVERSION KIT

I have in stock some complete conversion kits to suit all IRS vehicles . These kits constist of 2 axles , 2 inner flanges , 2 stub axles , 4 930 cv joints , 4 cv boots and a set of cv bolts . These kits are priced @ $ 940 ea , and can be up-graded with cro-moly race cages for an extra $ 460 . This is the kit that I have used with 400 hp on the drag strip with over 300 passes on them without a falure , ROD , 02-42729920 .

do you also do 100mm stub axles to suite type 2 cv's? what are they worth if you do?

Cheers Stephen

Why bother Stephen?
Go the 930 for ultimate strength. You price out the type 2 and Rods kit is well worth it. I did!
I think you have to ring Rod for contact.

Matt,
you are no doubt correct but I'm already in for almost this amount for the type 2 stuff ...oh well live and learn. WHat are you up to? anything interesting brewing up North?

My stuff pretty tame compared to some on here.
I'm still stuck doin rust on my rust free baja!
When purchasing it never looks like much, I'll never learn that one, it seems so easy to say,
"that bit here and over there , stick the old kombi engine in after converting to porsche/type 1, and kombi box minimum, oh and dual shocks, lightened body, one piece bonnet...paint......."

Progress is good albeit one step forward and two back for a while! I havent tried to post photo's
yet. never dloaded from phone and dig camera being odd lately so I've tended not to use.
Must get stuf sorted!

Built a few engines lately, currently type IV webered, exhaust, strong cam etc.

How's Charlotte going with new pan?

progress is slow but good, my parts cupboard look like it will run 200mph ;) but I need to get those bits in the car. I've been working really hard finishing off a huge renovation so that I'll have somewhere cool to park the bug, Charlotte should be home in Feb so work can once again begin. You won't recognize the old girl when I'm done but if it runs the way I plan you wont get much of a chance. I'll get some photos together once I get some serious work completed.
