Reminds me of what my little brother's mate had on his Gemini. He had a windscreen washer bottle mounted in the boot(which contained a slippery
substance) with 2 tubes drilled through the wheel wells to the rear tyres. "NOS" button on the dash....
I always wondered how he managed to "fish-tail" a Gemini at a drop of hat!

Yes, all steam engines had pipes in front of the driving wheels
