Best way to ship wheels from Adelaide to Sydney

Hi

I just bought some wheels and tyres from a guy in Adelaide and I need to get them to Sydney. Does anyone know good company to use?

Hi

They are 17 x 7.5 23ET Porsche wheels. I've spoken the person selling them on Ebay and I've got the freight worked out.

Steve

PS, These are the wheels

Hi

They were $800 with tyres. I'm not going to use the tyres, so the seller and I have agreed that he will get the wheels stripped and post them up to me at my cost. We couldn't use Australia Post with the tyres attached as it would have been too heavy and big for them.

The seller is an ex VW person who now drives a Porsche, lucky duck and knows all the VW people down in SA, really nice person to deal with.

The wheels are perfect for my new 1303, they are 17 x 7.5 23ET and are pretty rare offset.

I used to run 16x7 23ET Fuchs on the front of my old 1303. I will again be running Aero guards, these new wheels will now be about 6mm closer to the inside & outside than a 16x7 23ET Fuchs. On the rear I have alloy 944 trailing arms which pushed the wheel bolt face out 42.5 mm per side, I bolted a 16x7 23ET Fuchs up to my car with the rear Aero mudguard in place and they fitted nicely as well.

Hey mate,
Adam Debiasi (08) 8262 7533 Debiasi4 on here is driving up to Sydney this weekend to pick up a car and parts. You could contact him and see if he would bring them up for some $$$ for fuel. I'm sure he would do it.
