65 type 1 mirror help


can anyone let me know how to remove the rh side mirror fitted in the door hinge,without damaging the mirror????
one other thing i picked up what i think is a old 61 model on saturday and i am trying to find out the meaning of the id plate in the spare wheel well it just has chaiss #19 on it any ideas?

open chosen pic with ms paint
crop picture to what you want
resize pictue (5" BY 4") usually good
save as
open topic / add details / browse for saved pic.
