Painting my squarebacks roof white (need Advice)
Hi there,
I have decided to paint the roof of my squareback an off white/cream colour but I'm not sure exactly the details or codes for a good colour, is there
a good standard off white/cream colour code out there.
It's just that last time they wanted a bit off the car to get the colour right but as there is no white on there already i can't really do that.
Thanks
Pete

Depends on how crisp you want the white.
I recently painted the roof of my mate's kombi in L90D Cloud White - you can get this in either two pack (base coat, with clear coat over like I
used)....or acrylic urethane which does not require clear over the top. Some colours like the beige (savannah) on this bus couldn't be ordered in two
pack, but in this instance I applied clear over the top in readiness for colour sanding.
This white is quite creamy - if you want something a lot 'cleaner' or crisper, you may want to go with another colour (maybe lotus white - that is
still not a really bright white though).
Sorry the pics aren't too clear of the colour.
