Gearbox free to good home (VIC)

As the title states, I have a gearbox I need to get rid of. Must be picked up by Friday 1 Feb as our house is up for sale and the real estate agent reckons a VW transmission is not a selling feature.....

No idea what model its from (see pic - hopefully someone can identify it), or what condition its in (car had no engine when I got it and the car now has a period correct 'box in it). It was installed in my 56 oval when I bought it.

Top bit (ie the bit closest to the front of the car) has the number 211 301 211E on it, next piece back is marked 113 301 173A, and main case is marked 113 301 103. Its a little less greasy now as I hit it with the pressure washer on the weekend, but its by no means grease free!

Location: Brighton VIC. Pick up only. Must be gone by 1 Feb at the latest! :tu:

Cheers
Cam

That pic is of no use to any of us , whats the id number which is located on the bottom right side when in car.
Not to mention you like many of us will regret getting rid of this soon , just hide it in that garden shed mate AND DON'T TELL THE MISSUS WHERE ITS GONE

Looks like an early(pre 68) swinger.
(two drain plugs)
The nose cone is off a bus so it was probably installed in an oval at some point.

That nose cone is worth money, so if I lived a bit closer I would take it no worries.
Someone save this from the dump!

Thanks again Cam, I greatly appreciate it. The id number I found was 7584321, does this make it a 65 box? and I was wondering, would this fit in my bro's 67 split kombi? I was going to use it for my 73 fastback but I don't think its gonna fit:td:

65, will have to shorten torsion housing (lots of work)... u need a 67-68 to fit straight into a bus.

You can have the whole thing if you want as I can't use it anymore.
