Bucket Seat options Type 3?
Has anyone had any joy finding bucket seats that will fit, without modifications, to 1966-68 Type 3 seat tracks?
I'm planning on running my '67 Square at Bug-In this year, and a better bucket seat for the driver's side would be sweet.

Howdy
What we did for our 73 fastie was weld Celica seats on to the type 3 seat bases by pulling a stuffed set apart.
It meant that no holes in the pan plus it gives you an other set of sliders to use rather than using the VW ones.
Hope this helps.

Craig you need to find some old Type 3 frames and do some welding of tubing to adapt the later seat

Thanks.
I was hoping for a straight swap, but the Sillycar seats onto an old Type 3 base is probably the next best thing.

Hey Craig, what about some Cobra Classics or even just one for the driver. Look right in a Type3.
Also be keen to know if there is a seat that goes straight into a Type 3.
