I went to Super Cheap, bought the engine stand/trolley for about $60 and then bolted a Kombi bell housing up to it :tu:....................I have since fitted a starter for engine testing.

works well................you can move it around as well as rotate the motor !

i did exactly the same thing, perfect engine stand.. just dont revv too hard.
