1200 single port engine


I have a single port 1200 minus alternator and ditributor, you can have it for $100, its takin up space in my shed, but you have to come pick it up, it ran before pulled from car, i am in Murrumba downs northside bris vegas 4503.

Yeah Damo - count me in as I need something to get the oval back on the road!

Dave, and or Damo - will there be any dramas re. flywheel and starter in the later tranny I have in place? I have put later model engines into early boxes, but haven't gone the other way before!

Nah thats easy. Just change the starter bush back to the 6v one and fit the original 6v starter. Bushes are about $10 new.

And make sure you use the right pressure plate with the throw out bearing combo.

Just get yourself a 12 V flywheel Alan and clutch to suit.
I can do a 5 minute job on the lathe and it will bolt on.
