This isn't the Indian Automotive Kombi all painted and finished is it?
From memory that one had deeper sills (if thats what the're called on VW's, sorry still learning).
It would make trying to find a spot to park at the shopping centre a nightmare, come to think of it you would just park in the bus zone.

I was under the impression driftin was for jap rice cars not vintage and classic cars. Have they recently added a category to the D1 circuit?

After spending the sort of $$ and time to build a car to that sort of standard i doubt he had driftin in mind.

The van looks great it is a credit to the owner and those responsibly for its creation, keep up the good work :tu:

I would have to agree with you here.

It is a credit to the owner or owners.
He/she or they have done a fantastic job on it.

Hmmm Little man little man. so sad:crazy:
I am not going to sit here and put you down. because you have proven in just about every post you have posted on here that you are quite capable of doing that on your own.

I'll let you in on a little secret bud.
My husband and i are not just fans of the classic VW.
We have a nice old school Datsun 1600, powered by a nice new school Nissan SR20DET it runs a mildly healthy 257.8rwkw @ 22psi. We have used this car on a number of track days and a couple of motorkhana driving events with great success.

so with that being said. I would say i too have my foot in both worlds sweetheart.
I wouldn't say that I'm left out at all. In Fact i would go as far to say that if you turned up to a drift event with your car and i turned up with ours. I think you would be the one left out darling. :fakesniff:

Sorry but I will leave your little offer of a hug to some little 13yo girl wanting a ride in the fully sic front wheel drive celica. :
Good luck with chucking your handbrake assisted skids:lol

funny enough u were the one who brought it up....
haven't u seen a bug drift before?

back to topic...

Apparently the engineering approvals are easier for increasing the size of your wheel base, rather than shortening.
Can anyone confirm that?

Looks like she's got registration from your side of the planet. I remember seeing this bus - or one nearly identical - at VW Classic in Irvine, California, years ago...and frequently. Has she moved down your way?
