You might want to re-post this in General Chit Chat - this forum is rarely read. :)

I'm about to post you a U2U. I'm currently living in Kalgoorlie/Boulder, so I can't visit your picturesque town as much as I used to. But I'd like to help you in any way I can. Viva la VW!

70Autostik - check out the town dump and see if there are still two split window kombis there. We had to leave them at the tip when we moved about 3 or 4 years ago - we couldnt even give them away, and couldnt sell the house with them in the yard.

Also once saw a bloody ugly bush buggy at the tip - on an oval era chassis !!!!

Remember there was an L bug sitting in someones shed around piccadilly st (have to drive up the back lane to see it) with only 35,000 on the clock.

Not a bad place for dubs really - no rain = not so much rust.
