'91 Caravelle GL
4 sale is this beautiful 1991 model Volkswagen Caravelle GL, The last of the Rear engined VW Vans. It was all but top of the range in its day, with
all the goodies, including aircraft style seating with arm rest on all seats, roof console ducted air conditioning, fully carpeted, electric mirrors,
central locking, heated rear window, rear wiper, rare factory tacho with digital clock, auto transmission, power steering and factory alloy wheels.
This van is in fantastic condition, it has only had 2 owners from new, the 1st owner had this van for 16 years and kept it imauculate. It has always
been garaged and serviced by a VW specialist.
The engine has just been reconditioned by a South Coast VW Specialist and runs like new. The auto is perfect, shifts like it should, the van still
drives like new.
The body is straight and rust free, still has its original metalic blue paint with just a few small stone chips on the front and a couple of car park
marks that didn't polish out down the sides. It has a small dent in the tail gate and one in the drivers door, these are very minor. The chrome front
bumper is perfect but has a small crack in the plastic end cap, the rear bar is straight but has a minor bit of damage, the end caps are fine
The interior is in very good original condition, a couple of small marks on the carpet hear and there, seats are all very good showing almost no
wear.
This is one of the cleanest Caravelles I have ever seen, for a 16 year old van they don't come any better, it is a reluctant sale but has to sell, I
have set a buy now price of $9,900, I am open to realistic offers. I have described this van as honestly as I can although if you are interested, I
