Bought this car 4 years ago this month and finally, she's on the road .
Had her maiden voyage today, and only a few small things to iron out. I could have said I finally finished my car, but as others have said you never
really finish them. How true, I have had future plans for about 2 years now
Anyway, couple of photos with her new plates and my daughter has added Tigger to the rear view mirror has he is the same couloring (look hard, he
blends in).

Thanks everyone, and yes very good to get the plates on and finally drive a VW for the first time every on the road  . Still a few small teething issues to attend to. Need to get wheel
alignment and see if I can get some negative camber put into the k/p front end (any suggestions), need to fine tune the engine as there is a little
burbling through the exhaust (like when you normally back off) even when just cruising, small oil leak (as they say, it is a vw) and I am surprised
about the free play in the steering box considering it was new (I think).
But I guess when a car as been totally stripped down and then put back together over 4 years there will always be a few things to sort out.
Now, just to find the time to drive it
