Type 3 Notch on e-bay!
Type 3 notch. Is this the ex Victorian car which was at the Nats when it was held at Parklea Socker Club?? Was also a feature in OZ VW mag in the
90s??

Little bit too much rust in the wrong places for me, but at that price its prob not that bad. Looks good with first glimpse.

I love 242HP sleepers.
How many sets of lights does it take a $229k Carrera S to learn?
UPDATE: Cayman S, M3, B4 now added to the list.

Other than the rust, it has had a major repair somewhere down the track. It has the left rear quarter from a fuel injected vehicle, maybe the whole
rear end??. A few years later than the original 64 model! The owner from Melbourne seemed puzzled when it was brought to his attention all those
years back at Parklea.

What do you mean by the " left rear quarter from a fuel injected vehicle" ? How is this sheet metal different on the Notchback between model years,
are you referring to the side engine mount pieces ? Thanks.

The first pic is of a 1964 or for that matter, all pre fuel injected rear showing both sides the same above the floor. The second pic shows the
squared left side where the "black box" of the fuel injected Notch lived. Hope that is ok on the explanation of the differences.
