Hi Dan. I've got a reasonable side parker (red rear/clear front) and the short length trim strip if you want me to send it up. Look after that P/B
switch! Is it still 6 V or 12 V?? I found a NOS one and run all headlights through relays to reduce the load as they were a problem child when new
in the 60s. If you are changing to 12 V, there were a couple of wires different (2 speed) for the wipers. I think the changed numbers may have been
on that sheet I sent you with the ignition switch.
Haven't seen many top door trims lately. My spares went to Adelaide with Aaron Thompson? after the 2006 Nats from memory and the other good ones
were on the Notch which is owned by "Whereisfelicity" up your way. There are two types of trim for this, The original early ones are from the
vinyl covered foam and later ones were hollow moulded plastic.

I think it has been running it with previous owners)

As far as I know the sill trims were wide ones standard until the lousy VW of Australia thought the Australian public wanted a cheaper version!
Here is the 62?63 model Square in the yard at Barnawartha. What a pitty it's just rotting away. When I took these pics I could have had the Square
for a couple of songs around 2002 but was too busy with the "S" and the cook wasn't too keen on more junk around!

Also, from some info, the 1500A was the Plain Jane Type 3 with the narrow sill trims, single sidedraft carb, bug door pulls and flat tail light lens,
no pop-out rear windows, single piece door trims etc etc continuing to around 66 or 67 in Europe. All type 3s produced here were Plain Jane untill
the 69 model where they reverted to the "S" trim externally.
Just another bit of useless info!
Will drop them in the mail on Monday Dan.
You owe me a beer down the track but not Nambucca this year as I will be in the UK etc from mid July to early Sept following another of my filthy
hobbies!

Those Rims look like Type 3 Ghia Rims, slotted but take the flat hub cap.
I am looking for 4 of these is you are interested in selling them.
Thankyou,
David

These rims are stock standard early Type 3 for 1962/63. The hubcap attatchment and offset is different to a splitty. The Type 3 and Type 34 (Ghia)
rims are also the same for each year model.
