The owner of this one is moving to Australia and was asking on another site the problems of getting this car on the road Down-under if he brought it with him.

Brasilias forever....

as a lover of the VW type 3 squareback and the late beetles
I really would have loved to have a 4 door Brasilia...
its a shame none of those early GOL air cooled engines didn't make it over here....
they look really great.... a modern beetle engine....

I still can't work out why the 4 door Brasilia wasn't used as a Taxi in Mexico....
when the law said Taxis had to have 4 doors.
the presses etc could have gone from Brasilia to Mexico...??

they were on a beetle chassis NOT type 3.. they were supposed to be a replacement body for the beetle..

You guys would be the ones to ask....can you find heads for the Gol engine, new or used I could be very interested in buying some.

I reckon the brazilia would look great lifted and set up for offroad duties. Sorry to the die hards.
