OK been beach slightly bush and havent had to engage either of the locks yet. I will buy a pull along winch and really put it in some places, see what happens then?
Low bar at front for bulldozing action, works a treat.
Yeh personalised plates, lashed out. After all i did save about 10G at least.
Only pain in the arse is coolant, i reckon theres still shit load of air in their somewhere. Been bleeding it at both ends in air and all that.
Still i see air flowing through the return lines around top of firewall.
Think i have got it then running back home today xpansion tank light is on, got home and resevouir is chocke's overflowing but xpansion tank is almost empty, bugger me i am going to start all over again.
Oh and the actual xpansion tank cap doesnt quite spin around far enough so i have adapted a longer line of hose.
Anyone els have that problem???

Top stuff Andrew, glad to see the plates on finally, i know it was worth all the busted knuckles and hope the PM i sent makes some sense, if not, PM me and i'll forward my number to confuse you even more...just to make it public, i had previously slagged T3's in the not too distant past but after our sucesssful and stressful move to the Goldy, our T3 has been bullet proof and i wouldn't part with her for quids ! :)....bidding? you wouldn't sell the beasty after all you have been through surely! Keep on truckin mate. Regards, Adam

looks good. The wheels and tyre combo makes it

are those 16" wheels? are they the original syncro 16's or mercs'?

Righto kombination, firstly fixed clutch issue and i now have a functioning box. Was another learning procedure but i know now. Yeh now who is the converted? Once you try youre hooked and then comes progression = syncrotime. ulll c.
Mate not selling, but then again everything is for sale for the right price..

Kombicountry rims are stock mercs 15x6.5 running a 215x75 trail mark rubber. Yeh thats as big as i will go, although 16's would look better.hhmmm???

Yes gary i am almost sorted in the niggles part. New upper ball joints next week front diff pod same time, coolant i have sorted and i am leaving in too check for pressure leaks for a month or so.
Thinking about throwing the 1/25 ratio rockers onto him also? Got to get a fibreglass rear lid would be nice.
It's all about learning the limits and pushing them..
Thinking about getting a roll cage installed along ribs of him, one at front bulkhead and one at rear anyway.
I will look into it.
Cheers all

nah syncro - the 15's look good keep them as is

when i (the mechanic actually) put a set of 1:40 rockers on mine i found that i lost a bit of low end power/torque (something i assume you want with a syncro) which seemed to be rectified by better flowing cat & muffler, which i was planning on putting in anyway.

Cheers Shapey

No Kombi i dont want to loose bottom end so i will either wait or pass but if i wait i until i have all the parts for that operation should be successful mission. Thanks for the heads up.

Oh yeh the dings are old paint over models so as to not make it too flash + i really couldnt be bothered enough time and effort and it's only a toy anyway.
Will post some pics after weekend going searching with the kids well more than likely the boys anyway.
